I arrived in Lushoto via bus yesterday. It was a six hour jourey from Dar but it went quickly! I am here with my friend Shahida whom I met last time I was in Tanzania. Went snorkling yesterday which was really good! I went with the four irish girls from Jambo Brothers (where im staying) and then there were about 10 others who had booked on too. We went out to the shores of a private island and were able to snorkle. The fish came so close to the surface it was amazing to see them! There were loads of bigger fish and many brightly coloured ones. Much better than the snorkling on prison island as it wasnt raining! Afterwards...

Here I am in Zanzibar! The picture does not lie it really is that beautiful! I arrived on Friday via ferry from Dar. The crossing was two hours and the sea was relatively calm which is a blessing as I have heard it can get very choppy if there has been rain! The ferry gets into Stonetown which is Zanzibar's biggest town. I arrived safely in Tanzania on Tuesday. I got a taxi to the YMCA which was to be my hostel for the next few nights.
