Tuesday morning was the start of my long trip back to heathrow and then out again to South America! I got the bus to the airport in the morning with a university group who had also been volunteering with soft power and were on the same flight as me. Everything went surprisingly smoothly = all the flights were on time and my bag turned up in heathrow! Then it was a quick journey back home to reigate where i washed all my clothes and repacked my bag (leaving out all the unnecessary stuff id been lugging around!) and then back to heathrow! It was really nice to see my family if only for one day and thanks mum for washing all my clothes = they smell so clean now!
The flight to Argentina was fine although i hadnt expected a 5 hour wait at 5.30am in Sao Paulo but luckily the flight from Rio de Janiero waited and so I didnt miss my connection there! I should have felt more tired after 51 hours of travelling but when I arrived in Buenos Aires last night I felt ok and still had the energy for some beers and didnt get to bed till late! It was pretty serial waking up in Uganda and going to bed in Buenos Aires!
