Tubinggg!!!! Today was the day we had been waiting for because it was so famous amongst backpackers. My problem was I still felt sick. Not a good way to be when you are going out partying all day. I still felt really hungry so got the Tubers breakfast which was really big and actually came with free shots at the end. We could tell it was going to be a strange day from then on.
We went around town then looking for a bus to 4000 Islands and then we wanted to get tubing tops and waterproof purses to wear that day. I felt so bad walking around though that I ended up having to just sit down on the floor in the middle of the shop to stop myself feeling really dizzy and sick. I didn't want it to stop me going tubing though because I would never have another chance to go so I powered through it.
When we got back to the room to get changed I lay down in the cool for a while and felt a lot better. I took some ibuprofen and then we got a tuk tuk down to the river. It turned out though that we needed to hire the tubes from the town and bring them with us; nobody told us that though! But in the end we didn't really need them and it didn't make any difference at all.
Everyone starts off at Q-Bar where we got a band which meant we could get free whisky shots. We bumped into Gav who was with Nev, Yanak and Colette so we sat with them and had a drink whilst we watched everyone doing the limbo, whisky line up and beer pong. We had the option of swimming to the next bar or going by land. We chose land. I didn't want to die!!
The rest of the day was filled with a lot of starch being chucked about to stop the mossies attacking (Yanak actually got a video of him throwing some in my face), jumping into the river which was the most disgusting thing I have ever swam in, and dancing lots J. We finished off the night dancing in a circle with a load of strangers to an old song that I didn't know.
I was with Siobhan when we were waiting for everyone to come and get a tuk tuk with us back to the town. They were taking ages and a load of German guys beat them to it so we got a ride back with them. We had said we would meet them at a place next door to Q-bar at ten but Siobhan and Carm fell asleep for ages and then we couldn't find anyone when we went out. It was super quiet anyway so we didn't go out for long. It mostly involved getting sandwiches.

Gran SOoo relieved you survived the "tubing"! Quite a risk to do it when feeling unwell. Here speaketh a stick-in-the-mud NON-daredevil!
