An early coach took us to Brisbane. I slept most of the way. Our hostel looked nice. Our room was in the pool house - and stank of damp - YUCK!
We went out straight away to the city. So happy to be in a city!!! We found the shopping precinct straight away and a tempting farmers market. The "South Bank" was identical to London's South Bank with big wheel, theatre and gallery. We enjoyed a tropical strongbow and later treated ourselves to some seafood - I had the largest serving of baby octopus imaginable!!
