Best day ever!!

Picked up at 8am by a shuttle bus, made our way to the marina and hopped on board the Quick Cat II - breakfast was served and coffee was free (happy days!!!!)

Sailed an hour or two out to the bay, saw some dolphins on our travels too.

We came across a Mother whale and a very energetic calf which performed lots of breaches and Fin Slaps for us! Amazing.

Moved a bit further on and came across a few male whales who performed breaches , Fin Slaps and tail Slaps - the noise was defening they were that close to the boat.

Found another calf further along before heading our way back - such a good day!!

We were dropped off on Fraser Island for a free lunch, anything of the menu! Stuart went standard fish & chips and I had a Chicken Schnitzel (pretty much a Kiev but with no filling it turns out)
