The family i was staying with have two farms, yes two! And i went to their other one with Ken and the son of some friends of theirs, Kit. We were there 4 days, and 3 of them were spent docking (cutting the tails off) lambs. 3782 of them!It was hard work! There were 6 of us doing it; we rotated but at one time 2 were putting the lambs in the cradle, 1 was marking their ears with what was essentially a hole punch, 1 was scratching them with a medicine against Scab...

So finally in the land of sheep I come to a sheep farm! Is cool, got to drive a big tractor to roll one of the fields after seed planting. I want a big tractor. Also got to organise part of a day of shearing cos Ken, who owns the farm had to go out, so he left me in charge of organising the shearers, and the sheep. Organising sheep is very hard because they are so dumb! Its unreal. You'll have one left in a pen cos all the rest have been chased out of the open ...

Heya, I'm in Gisborne at the moment, staying with a bee man. Tis cool, i managed to work my 20 hours for the week on monday and tuesday, which means i have the rest of the week off. Spent today at the skatepark which was cool. Am getting slightly better. Am off to Havelock North in two fridays time which is cool, am there for two weeks. Only got stung once on tuesday which is impressive considering we started at 9 and didn't get back til nearly 9, which was...

I am in Napier at the moment, but I'm only here today, a i am off to Gisborne tomorrow to stay with a bee man, that is a man who keeps bees, not a half bee half human hybrid. Also am happy because i have found somewhere to go after that, which is good. Not much to say about Napier, is a nice place, i known as Art Deco City because of its predominantly Art Deco architecture. Anyway I'll post again when I'm settled in Gisborne. Over and out.

So today i went up the hill a bit to the location of some natural hot pools. There is a hot spring nearby and a stream runs into the cold waters of the Waikato river. I spent a while chilling in the pools which was cool, well warm actually. Am off to Napier tomorrow, and then onto Gisborne to stay with a bee man! Will post again sometime.
