Spent 3 days in Christchurch, one exploring the city, one sitting around cos it was raining, and one on a train.

Exploring the city, we listened to one of the Wizard of Christchurch's lectures; about how feminism was invented. It was very funny, and quite clever.

On the day it rained, happened to be my birthday we went out exploring in the car to a place called Akaroa, which seemed to have a large French community, which scared Malyon, as she left France to escape the French, and they seem to be following her.

The third day i went on the Tranzalpine train across to Greymouth, which was cool and pretty but not worth the $200 i paid for it. It would have been amazing in Winter in the snow.

We then drove across to the west coast.
