Key west
Last night we got to sleep in a house boat... it was so much fun! It rocked and rolled because it was quite stormy. We jumped off the boat for a swim that was really fun.
Oh, and stargazing was a great experience. We saw Venus!
We saw the Ernest Hemmingway house which had a garden full of cats, I loved that!!! We also went to the southernmost point of the USA which is only 90 miles from Cuba. It was cool.

Florida keys/Key west
Today we drove down the Florida keys. It was awesome! There were heaps of bridges (yep more bridges!) and each island key has its own name. There were lots of cool places along the way. At 'Robert is here' we got unusual milkshake flavours, like dragon fruit. There were heaps of tropical fruits we had never heard of.
We stopped at one place called Robbies, and bought a bucket of fish, which we fed to giant fish called Tarpons. One was about two meters long. They swam up to your bait fish and took it from your hands. Their mouths were as big as my face!
Our accommodation in Key West was a boat. We got taken on a jet ski to the boat, which was called… Gemma! We went for a swim, and then watched Shrek 2, and listened to the navy helicopters flying over our heads. We lay on the deck and stared at the stars before being rocked to sleep by the waves.
