Today we went to Point Mallard! It is a water park! The first thing we did was the lazy river, and then we did the junior water playground. I went on one of the mini slides, but I was to big, and ended up with a very sore elbow. Next we went in the giant wave pool. At it’s deepest point without waves it is 8 feet deep, and the waves are super strong.
After that, I went to the water slides! The first one I did was a flume ride, gentle and fun. Believe it or not, Daniel did that one, more than 3 times. Even mum did it, which is a miracle because she hates water slides. The next one was a longer, slightly faster version of the first one. Daniel didn’t do that one. The last water slide I did was called the pro bowl. A speedy slide leads you into a giant bowl, which you swirl around in a couple times, before slowing down for the exit, AKA a giant hole into 8 feet of water. You feel like you are going to stop before you go through, but then you plunge into the hole, and land in the water! This was my favourite slide.
Unfortunately, we had to leave the fun and get ready for our flight. Because it was our last day in the USA, we went to an ice cream parlour called Kalidoescoops to have giant sundaes. My flavours were play dough and pirate’s treasure. They were deeeeeellicioous!
After that we dropped our rental car off, and then we got to our gate, ready to get on our flight to HOUSTON. Our plane was very small, but comfy. After we arrived in Houston we took the sky train to our departure terminal. We found out that we had been upgraded to Premium Economy. Wahoo! I watched EPIC with Mum. For dinner I had spaghetti and meatballs, with a mousse cakey thing and Oreos. We then went to bed. When I woke up, there were 4 hours till breakfast, so I ordered a hot chocolate, a packet of chips, and a cookie. For breakfast I had muesli with apple juice and a croissant. Before I knew it we had landed. In NZ. We are BACK! Mwahaha...
It was an amazing trip, we did so much cool stuff, but I DEFINITELY need to go back to SPACE CAMP!

Today we went to point mallard water park. I went on the fast water slide four times, it was really fun but the ground was so hot it burnt my feet! I also had fun on the super long
lazy river where l kept slipping in and out of my tube. The wave pool had crazy big waves, about twice as high waves as the Porirua pool. I even got knocked off my feet and hurt my nose. But it was still fun.
We also said our last goodbye to America, which we celebrated with another giant ice cream sundae. Mine was a delicious combo of luscious lemon sorbet and Alabama pothole.
We flew to Houston and then waited for our flight to NZ. It was a night flight ✈️so we got dinner at midnight, then I fell asleep because it had been such a long day. I still watched lots and played games on the screens though.
So now here we are. In New Zealand again. I enjoyed the trip but I am really looking forward to seeing my cats and all of my friends.
This is my final blog. So… thanks y’all for reading, see ya real soon!
