Hello everyone....

I'm currently in Brisbane staying with a friend, Karen and her partner - what a beautiful place they have here and what a fantastic time I'm having, thanks sincerely for their hospitality!

There's been so many administrative boring type things to do at the moment as I had pretty much booked most things up until now so now I'm trying to think ahead and book accomodation in New Zealand and in Fiji and think about planning a bit for LA - Lucy can't wait for it, gonna be a lot of fun!

Since arriving in Brisbane on Saturday evening I have been to Australia zoo and had a couple of days exploring the city - alot to see and do!! Went to the fantastic museum of modern art yesterday - as ever some weird and creations which I do love...gotta think outside of that box and the realms of normality sometimes before falling back into old habits!!

Took the seacat from the city to Bulimba and then went for a curry - yum! Think that diet will start again tomorrow?!? Tomorrow am renting a car and heading for a day along the Gold coast - Southport, Surfers Paradise, Coolngata, Burleigh Heads, Byron Bay - before coming back through some beautiful national parks if time permits!!

Anyway, at the risk of this sounding a little mundane I'm going to head off for now and, as always promise to post an update (relatively) soon!

...much going on in the UK?? I should say, thanks for all of the nice messages sent through the blog - if I'm honest I only just discovered them the other day as I've had some decent time on the computer to find my way around things rather than trying to grab half an hour in an internet cafe with an audience!
