Well....I made it to my final stop of part I of my trip and met my good friend Lucy at LAX - fantastic to see her!! Since then we have lived it up around LA and particuarly West Hollywood where we are staying at a gorgeous med style boutique hotel! So nice to have a little bit of luxury having hosteled it up until now!!! So, it has been extremely busy - We nhave spent amazing nights out at the Viper room and then in Les Deux last night (...and we actually got into both no probs - yey!!). We've shopped on Melrose (amazing little boutiques inc. Fred Segal and Kitson), Beverly center, Hollywood - not gone as far as Rodeo and Robertson as we figured that they are well beyond our bank balances!! We've seen live music at Viper and Bon Jovi at the Staples centre and then negotiated the bus from downtown back to W Hollywood!! We've eaten like we've not eaten before (cue extreme diet when I get back to the UK!!), inc. all you can eat at Souplantation today - great after the night out last night!!! So now that it's Saturday night figured that we would have a chill out night in the gorgeous hotel before we have to leave tomorrow to continue on to Malibu (with an Oscar's viewing night - since we're close by!!), and then down the coast to Santa Monica, Venice and Laguna - can't wait!!! Has been an absolute blast so far esp. as I have the company of a good friend to share it all with...bring on the beaches and (fingers crossed the good weather!!), a convertible is not half as good without a little sunshine at least!!! xx
