A quick update, because we haven;t done one in ages and we've come a bloody long way! Have been living not near any internet very much now we are in the campervann and updating on phones is an impossible task!
So the quickk update which will be helped by photos eventually gooesss...
Bought a campervan in Cairns :D which we have made beautiful and now has all the hippy traveller commodities such as tie dye curtains and solar powered chinese lanterns...
Drove up to Dinden national park which was amazing, met some wonderful people, spent some days wandering around creeks and swimming and just being in amazing rainforest sunshine.. and testing the limits of the campervan which it turns out is prettyyy good at river crossings!
Went up to Daintree, camped at a cool site by the beach, saw some Cassowaries!! ( nearly ran over one) swam in some amazing natural pools etc etccc, went to Cape Tribulation, where all of the photos are taken to advertise beautiful Australian beaches!
Headded back to Cairns and spent a day on the reef doing lots of snorkelling and seeing lots of fishiess!
Headed down to Airlie beach for 2 days on a trimaran ( maybe how you spell it) for snorkelling, exploring the whitsundays and meeting lovely people with the strangest man you could ever meet as our captain....!!
Headed down the coast and into the outback a bit more to Eungalla national park where I seotn my birthday in the most amazing campsite weve ever seen. Will post pictures....
Then headded further into the outback to some mining towns to find our fortune and do some sapphire fossicking! Louis managed to find one worth $100!!! :D
Then downn forther on to Canarvon gorge which was stunning, and we spotted echidnas, platypuses, and spent a day walking along the gorge to see various beautiful things and some aboriginal paintings.
Then headed on down via 1770 (where captain cook first landed in queensland in 1770 ) and agnes water to potter around the beaches in the sunshine..
And we are now in Bundaberg! In the house that Louis lived in with his famaily when he was here 15 years ago, sampling the fine ginger beer from the factory opposite and being cooked amazing food by Gary and Jenny! Off fishing tomorrow to catch our own dinner....
And we have no idea where we are going after this!! Will try to keep updated a little bit more!!
