BANGKOK2 29TH-31ST OCTOBER 2006

We travelled from Ko Chang to Bangkok in about 6 hours which was pretty straight forward. As soon as you get of that bus the hustle and bustle of Bangkok hit you, especially after spending time on a peaceful beach, its not nice but got to be done!

After putting our bags down we took our passports to a local travel booking place so they could get our Laos visa's for us. Its really good actually, because it saves us paying a taxi to go to the embassy ourselves, its only about 30 US dollars and only takes a day to get a 30 day visa which if we'd got on the border crossing, could only get a 15 day visa and would of still cost 30 dollars.

We stayed in Bangkok two nights to do bits and pieces we needed to and decided our next destination would be a train journeywest to Kanchanaburi.
