Hi ended up spending last night having a few beer laos' with some Slovak guys & girls staying at our guest house which was fun!

We are now on the slow boat going from Huay Xai to Luang Prabang. It takes 2 days & we stop at Pak Beng overnight.

We are going down the Mekong River & the scenery is beautiful. Which is why we chose this method of getting to Luang Prabang instead of sitting on a bus for 12 hours.

We keep passing little fishermen in boats & they leave out fishing rods tied to the rocks which are made out of bamboo!

Looking forward to getting to Luang Prabang as we are going to the Elephant Village & we have booked to stay there to bath & ride the elephants! I can't wait!

Hopefully there will have wifi in LPB unlike anywhere else we have been to in Laos. It's a bigger city so fingers crossed!
