OMG! This place is amazing! We arrived from a 2 hour journey on the back of a pick up truck, then hiked for about an hour. When we reached the site we were allocated tree houses. We got the 2 person tree house as we are on honeymoon!
So we hiked & zip lined through the jungle to our tree house. Was quite scared of the zip lines at first, the scariest bit being taking off as you feel really safe once you are in the air as you wear a harness & have a safety line.
The zip lines are long & very high! It's amazing you literally whizz through the jungle above all the trees.
Some are 500m long & up to 150m high!
We got an early night (7.30pm) as you cannot zip line at night & that is the only way out of your tree house. It gets dark in the jungle too!
So we awoke ready for trekking at 6.30am. We heard the gibbons singing but we trekked closer & realised we couldn't reach them as they were too far away. The noise of their singing is so loud! It was exciting just to hear them.
Then we went for a longer trek with Juno one of our guides. Which zip lined us through some other tree houses & we saw everyone we travelled up with.
One tree house there was just a sheer drop to throw yourself off to get on the zip line. That was scary! The others have proper planks of wood you can step off. It is such good fun!
Back at our tree house now waiting for lunch. It's great the guides deliver breakfast, lunch & dinner to your tree house!
We are exhausted already. We seemed to trek for miles all up & down hill. But worth it to see the jungle & off course the zip lines.
We are here for one more night, so hopefully see some gibbons tomo!
Lots of love
Mr & Mrs Dando xxxxxx
UPDATE!!
I did see a gibbon the next day! Yay! But poor Dando didn't. It swung out of the way too fast.
We had such a great time! Xx

Louise Hi guys Yes Han it was incredibly scary at times as you are so high up. The trees are literally miles beneath you it seems. But by the time you have made the leap of faith it's so thrilling it's immediately fun! Ellen, the gibbon was black & had a long tail. It was swinging through the trees when I saw it! Lots of love Louise xxxx
