Well...camera happy I got in Canterbury. I picked this place pretty much by getting a UK map out and pointing out somewhere that could be reached in a day from London. I didn't really want another town or city where it's church was the main attraction and half way through the train journey Amanda nicely pointed out the fact that we are headed to Canterbury where the main attraction is the Canterbury Cathedral....oops! Oh well, another church to add to my every growing list that I have seen in Europe.

The flint on the buildings was very attractive and the smll parks here you find inbetween houses are cute and relaxing. The old is mixed with the older and the new and it all seems to work but doesn't at the same time.

I didn't do too well in staying clear of Churches or Cathedrals as we happened to be in town the same time as the Arch Bishop of Canterbury and he was introducing Canons (think I remembered their name correctly??? sorry if I didn't)into the church so we took Evening Song to finish a very productive day of photography.
