We got picked up by a tuktuk at 4.45am. Arrived at Angkor Wat in the pitch black - there are no lights there! We followed the crowds and sat at the edge of a lake waiting for the sun to rise hoping we were looking in the right direction! We had breakfast by the lake after looking around the temple. We said our goodbyes to Vince this morning - Tom and I were heading to Siem Reap but Vince was going South to Kep. We booked a local bus which was really old and cranky and had tonnes of mozzies on board. Was worried about out bags in the storage under the bus - heard stories of kids waiting under the bus stealing stuff out of them etc. had all valuables with me though. Off to Cambodia today! After blagging a free night at the Vietnam Inn (thanks to really bad management of reservations!) we headed to the bus station to get a bus across the border.
