Here we are in Baños which in Spanish means baths, at the base of the Tungurahua Volcano (little hell in Quichua!), Baños is famous for its thermal pools. Baños also has a brilliiant night life and is full of young travellers, although it has to be said that not in the 2 days that I was there as there was a major landslide on the road between Quito and Baños which meant that the town was empty.

 However we had a brilliant time doing including other things: eating sugar cane! (my teeth love me) trying mushed sugar cane juice (need i say it again) doing the famous bike ride form Baños to Puyo, which included beautiful waterfalls and the most amazing one of all, check the pics.
