This is the first stop on my organised tour around Ecuador. a short bus ride away, 4 hours and a 20 minute rid in the back of a truck and we arrived at our destination.

Nestled in surrounding mountains, the Andes and on the outer rim of the Amazon basin, this small village surrounded by cloud forrest was our first nights accomodation. A 6 birth cabin with real log fires, a sunken bath and 4 thermal pools of different temperatures right outside our front door and 10 more accross the road. This place was an Ecuadorian health farm! Just what the doctor ordered!!
