Hello everyone!! Well I finally made AND finally worked out how to use this keyboard, all the letters are in the wrong place!! (does that mean i can get away with all the typos??? ;)Ive come over all Barry Manilow at the moment as im sat in a little internet cafe on the Copacobana beach which is lovely AND is full of beautiful people. Tomorrow Im off to see the Christ on a hill aka god on a rock! ;) and do a city tour but for now Im off back to bed! I pronmise ill write something more interesting tomorrow.take care and remeber to text me!!Louxxxxxxxx

Hellooooooo all its Monday evening now and guess what ive finally made it out of my pit and over the jet lag to actually do something fab!! and today ive been to "god on a rock" and also been up Sugar Loaf mountain - all i have to say is WOW!!!!!! how beautiful is this place (and also how hot, sunstroke city!!) tonight there is a big concert on the Copacobana beach which I think im off to next and tomorrow i make a start on my first day of my tour.

 Im missing you all TONS and am dead home sick

Right I have some serious blog catching up to do so here goes -

So after my little wander around the beautiful but at times scary Rio, here are a few observations i have made!

The food here is just plain old odd, I can walk into a supermarket and genuinely have no idea whats for sale! The other day ! I tried to eat what i thought was a tomoto and it was something completely different, the pineapples are a bizzare shape and there is some very weird and wonderful vegetables - its ace here!

Everyone in Rio is dog mad!! I have yet to see a cat (yes i know I may have eaten one!) on a Sunday everyone takes their little doggies for walks and parades around with them - there are some seriously pampered pouches out there!

The Brazillian police force 'police militaria' are based in Copacobana, they are seriously good looking men and are as butch as you like  but I have to say you would NEVER mess with them, they stomp around with baseball bats and machine guns! kinda makes you feel safe though!
