Now at this point I have to mention that fateful day in Mar del Plata. Seaside city, loads of sun, few beers and the eventual realisation we were both burnt to a crisp. Yes! Brits abroad syndrome ....... And I've got a lovely t-shirt tan which does not look good in a sleeveless top!! Very sexy !!! And not to mention the peeling. I'm not quite sure how much of myself I've left in Uruguay, but I'm sure they could rebuild me - now there's a thought! So the trip...

Lazy start to the day! Only a short distance to travel onto Montevideo and an amazing hostel right on the main plaza with the Lonely Planet recommended bars only a staggering distance away...........
