Helllooooo all!

Right I'm on an island called Koh Phi Phi at the moment - done a fiar bit of travelling over the last week or so and been a bit rubbish with my blogs!

So left Bangkok on an overnight bus to an island on the east of the peninsula at the south - Koh Samui. We stayed in gorgeous little huts right ON the beach, loved it! It was a little home! Had lots of cocktails on the beach etc! I was going to do a tour of the island, but we decided to hire a four wheel drive between the 6 of us instead! It was wicked, drove round the whole island... but the jeep was only worth the cheap price we paid for it!

Reverse didn't work, so we had to push it, there was no handbrake and first gear didn't really work very well either! It was interesting! Then there was a masssssive thunderstorm, and I was driving through like mini rivers getting us home! Was a good day though lol.

Spent most of our time on the beach - chilling out, few cocktails, working on my tan! The weather on the islands is a lot better than in Bangkok... there it rained everyday at about 4pm for like 8 hours - torrential tropical rain! Here it rains less - maybe once every 3 days or something! Luckily it didn't rain for the fvull moon party!

We got a ferry over on the 6th to Koh Phanang, and met up with loads of Katie's friends from uni, and some of their friends... There were about 20 of us all together for the full moon party! I did a scuba dive from this island, to Sail Rock which was really good - absolutely LOADS of fish!

Full Moon Party was amazing - we all wore neon paint, went to bed at about 8am the next morning.... We got a disposable camera save risking our own expensive ones, so will get the pics developed later - should be funny!

Did an over night ferry/bus to Koh Phi Phi on the night after the full moon - and it was a bit stormy so didn't get any sleep really! Here now... gonna get a boat round the island tomorrow, do a bit of snorkelling I think! Go to the beach where The Beach was filmed! Heading back to Bangkok for the 15th so that we can get the bus in to Cambodia - can't wait for a bit of chill out time - there's been so many of us it's been a bit hectic! Back to a 4 at the mo, then think there'll be about 10 of us going in to Cambodia!
