Its good to see we all made it home from our Australia Day celebrations in London. However, some of us decided to later party it up in Southampton to the wee hours....of Sunday morning because they passed out on the train coming back from London. Of 'course we won't name, names, but you know who you are. While others of us decided to pretend they were Aussie to get lucky....hmmmm…. unfortunately we can all see an imposter a mile away. But we do have a photo of proof that a phone number was given from a certain lady.Let's just hope that you can remember what its under in your phone. Some of us tried our best at an Aussie accent…….but failed miserably as they just couldn't get the lingo right "put a shrimp on the barbie' is not Aussie and we certainly don't like sheep - that's New Zealand. Just a quick lesson for next year's Aussie celebrations.Aussie SlangHowdy mateGiddayHow's it hangingGidday mateFamous 4 We are famous for our EMU's, Koalas and kangaroos - and yes we do eat our national coat of arms and yes some of us do smash cane toads with cricket bats. Yes we are a bit barbaric, but that's just us. Yes we love our cricket, Rugby and football (the real thing, not this s***t called soccer). And no we are not the world champions, but you bet your Aussie a**se we will be one day. We are best known for the 2000 Olympics, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Ayers Rock and anything else that was invented that was b***dy awesome. We love our Pav's, lamingtons, and meat pies and tomato sauce (not this ketchup crap). We love ACDC, Cold Chisel, Jimmy Barnes and Kylie Minogue. Yeah our national anthem, most of Australian's doesn't know it because it certainly wasn't an Aussie who wrote it.... 'gert by sea'..what anthem has 'gert by sea' in it and what the hell is that. Yes we would much rather 'We still call Australia Home' and yes on Saturday I think we all sang it beautifully. But its good to see that everyone had a liking to the bundy rum, which is one step closer to the true Aussie. Its good to see we all got into the Aussie spirit and the tattoo's were definitely not made in Aust - it must be a UK product as we could never produce something so crap. I have some great photo's ....minus the molesting of the animal skins by some people and it was good to see our South African and American companions embrace the aussie flag. We definitely have photo's guys.
