Rain, hail or shine we were determined to go on our road trip. Basically you have to weather the elements or live in side like a hermit. So we decided to weather the elements. Well thinking it would be just a little rain that would pass over quickly, well no such luck and not so good when you plan a walking trip in the forest. Anyhow, nothing good damper three aussie's good intentions for a road trip. The laughs started with a traditional afternoon tea (well with a tea bag) in a little teahouse somewhere on our way to the sea. A drop off at a little winery and some more fun as we tackled the roads and went down a tiny pedestrian street and had to reverse back down the street. I kept saying I don't think the car will fit and another friend in the front saying yeah it will be alright. Well it bloody wasn't. Have you ever seen the show were a little red car gets jammed down a narrow street and the people get stuck inside. Well that can happen in real life you know and not just in the movies. Luckily I didn't take the advice of my fellow Aussie traveler and decided to stop before that occurred and reversed back down the road to a laughing stock of shop keepers and a small sign that said NO CARS. To add to our road trip we saw actual deer, however, I am still convinced they were mechanical as they didn't move. Anyhow had a great adventure in the rain as only 3 Aussie's can do and got some interesting photo's of us in the car with the scenery in the background.
