Barcelona We missed our plane from Rome to Barcelona so caught one the next day. OOOppppps just a little mishap, but worth the extra stay to see the Vatican city. We arrived in Barcelona and basically I slept for the day and night, absolutely exhausted. But I can comment on the hostel, the beds were comfy and would recommend them to anyone.

Rome We spent two days in a flea infested hostel and were concerned if we would get out alive with the crazy people running the hostel. Florence We spent a couple of days in Florence and celebrated Tam's birthday at a place called Mamma Mia's and later ventured into the night life at a local club that took us back to the 80's.We did see the Statue of David, which was worth the couple of hour wait and Mary Poppin's (aka Tam) took care of my failing ankle for the rest of the trip. Venice - How to Steer a Gondola Our next stop was Venice. What can I say it meet all my expectations and was by far the best place I enjoyed. It was absolutely amazing and the trip on the gondola just topped it off. Oh no it was the marriage proposal between Tam and Li. I guess the moment overtook them and thinking they may never get a chance again seized the moment.
