Day 17/1/13:
This morning we went to puzzle world. Loads of people put their names down to go but after the night out there was a change of plan!! I decided to go anyway because check out was like half an hour after the time we had to leave for puzzle world anyway so there wasn't much difference. It ended up being good fun anyway and it woke us up again after our four hours sleep! There was a lot of optical illusion stuff first. There were 3-d holograms and a room with faces that followed you around as you move. There was a room that everything was tilted in, the floor was sideways so it was a bit strange for the head after a night of drinking!! In another room it looked flat from the outside but it was actually tilted and I'd you stood in the corners one set of people looked like giants and the others like dwarves! So we made all the girls look bigger than the boys! Outside then there was a really big maze where you had to make your way to four different towers. It was good fun as it was actually hard enough to find your way!! We found them all though- I wasn't giving in!! There was a leaning tower and some funny buildings outside then that we could take photos of so we dossed around outside waiting for the bus to pick us up!
We got back on the bus then to head to Queenstown. We stopped at a bakery for some lunch and at a fruit shop- I don't know why! We went then to the original bungy site where the first bungy was done in the eighties! Some people were signing up for bungies and we had some time to watch people jumping which was cool. I could never do it big I enjoyed watching them! There was a screen inside too where we could watch people live and we spent ages watching this woman that was terrified and kept backing out. My heart was pumping for her because she kept going to the edge, leaning back and then grabbing the instructor again. In the end I don't think she meant to jump because when she fell she tried to grab him and missed! We were glad she did it in the end though!!
After that we went to Queenstown and checked in. We've the same group of girls together for the last few days which is nice. We dossed around for a while as we were so tired and then went to get food downstairs. We just sat for ages chatting as we were too tired to go back to the room!
We had to go out for a few drinks as the driver Motors was finishing up with us. She had to drive a different bus an leave tomorrow. She was gutted as she really enjoyed our group!
The bar in the hostel had a horizontal bungy competition where you could win a bungy. A guy and girl had to do it together. One had to run down the bar attached to a bungy and grab a drink, bring it back to the other person and they had to down it. It was very funny! They got points for taking off clothes so that made it funnier! The Northern Irish couple won so we were delighted that it was someone from the Stray bus.
We went to another bar afterwards but we were just so tired from the nights before that we were no fun- we were barely talking to each other! It was still one o'clock by the time we got to bed!!
