By the time we left Keoladeo it was getting on and we still had another 5 hours to drive. Unfortunately the road was closed and with the usual lack of diversion signs we asked for directions. These sent us an hour down a dusty road to a dead end and we had to make a massive back track to find a way. By this point it was pitch black and Dada kept praying to the God he has on his dashboardf which doesn't make us any calmer. We did eventually get there and went to a little South Indian Cafe Dada's friend owns and had some excellent and really cheap Dosa and Gareth had a beer (which Dada has taken to buying from the local shop for him every night).
We got up before Sunrise to go on Safari. Ranthambore is famous for its Tigers so this is the main focus of a trip there. I found this a bit of a shame as it meant the cantar drove quite quickly past all the other wildlife like monkeys, crocs, deer and birds. It did pay off though and we managed to spot a tiger which was very impressive. Back at the hotel Dada offered to make us lunch on the hotel rooftop which was a lovely stuffed Roti. My attempts to make another were less successful but still yummy and with a full tummy we headed to Jaipur...
