Helloooooo Scotland!!! Well, you know what they say - all good things must come to an end!That's me all settled back at home in sunny Cumbernauld! I arrived back in Glasgow on Thursday morning about 8:30am after many hours of flying! Actually, the flights went in really quickly, it was great. I left Bali on Wednesday morning with Michelle and Christine and after having to open up all our bags for a security check at the airport (raging!) and then the guy taking 30 minutes to check us in, we got on our first flight to Singapore. I had 4 hours to spend in Singapore, which was really easy as it is a lovely airport with lots of duty free shopping :0) Then I got on my flight to London, whilst the other 2 had another hour to spend in Singapore until their flight. As my flight took off at 2255, we had a meal and then the lights went out and we all went to sleep. This meant that the time flew by and, apart from when the guy behind me stole my pillow (how rude!!), I didn't wake up again until we had only 4 hours of the flight left. It was the quickest 13 hours ever and then we had such a smooth landing that you would hardly know that we had touched the ground. It was a bit of a pain having to go from terminal 4 to terminal 1 in London as I had soooo much hand luggage, but luckily one of the grounds staff sent me through Fasttrack so I didn't need to stand in all the big queues, yeah! I didn't have any time to spare in London and I was back in Glasgow before I knew it! So after spending the whole of Thursday asleep in my lovely, comfy bed, I have spent the rest of the time boring everyone silly with stories of Oz and Bali and showing my Bungy Jump video!! Thank goodness you have all seen the photos already or it could take weeks! Australia now seems like a distant memory and no doubt it will be the same for Bali soon enough! It was such an amazing 10 weeks, its just a shame it can't last forever. However, there will always be memories ... and this wonderful journal (if I may say so myself, hee,hee!) to look back on! Well now it's back to reality! There are people to see :0) and jobs to be looked for :0( Thanks for keeping in touch! I hope you have all enjoyed reading my journal and seeing my photos.
