Just a quick email to keep you all up to date whilst I am downloading some photos. And, oh yeah I forgot to tell you last time that I have tried crocodile!!!! I had a crocodile skewer at the Midil beach market. It was really weird - surprisingly chewy! I wouldn't say it was horrible but it was unimpressive. Anyway I didn't eat the whole thing, I just got it to taste and threw the rest in the bin coz I'm a wimp! I wanted to try kangaroo too but they were all out of that! We had another night out on Saturday night and ended up back in Shenanigans! It was a good night but if we have another night out before we leave Darwin we really must try somewhere else! We also went back to the Mindil beach market last night. There isn't really much to do here at night except drink so we thought we would go back down to see if we could find anything different. The Sunday night is a scaled down version of Thursday though so I didn't buy much. We ended up sitting down on the beach watching the sunset and listening to a guy playing his guitar. It was so lovely, I could have sat there all night - what a lifestyle!!! :0) I decided that I want to learn to play the guitar when I get back! It is soooo hot here just now and the humidity is quite high. I sat at the pool in the hostel for a bit today but got fed up so went out for a wander. Have ended up doing more shopping! I have pretty much seen most of Darwin's sights now with the exception of one or two things so I have plenty of time to relax now and get a suntan! I am hopefully doing something really, really exciting one day before I leave here but i will keep you in suspense as to what it is and fill you in if, and when, it happens! Anyway that's the photos online ... I am gonna add some more later from Michelle and Christine's cameras from the other night out as I didn't take my camera ... enjoy! xxx
