Leaving new zealand, one last icredable sunset as my plain took of for melbourne, an incredable sunset as i left aukaland, then the view of a full moon in the sky as the night went on, from melbourne to dubai a long 14 1/2 hour flight. A strange feeling leaving new zealand and surprisingly the flight went alot quicker than i had expected it to. Arriving at 5.45 am in dubai the view of the incredable contrast of buildings from anywhere i have ever seen. Ofcourse now the wolrds tallest buiding dominates the view as the plain came into land. Exiting the plain the extreme heat clearly felt, 30degrees at 6am! It was like walking into a suana, as we got in the shuttle buses the feeling of air conditioning a relief, into the airport and once again collecting my luaggae and very relieved to leave the airport. An hour and a half drive to where i am now abu dabi, the drive showed me this incredable contrast of buidings, constantsly finding myself looking up as we drove from the airport through the city and the further we drove the dryer everything looked, buiding sites everwhere with new buildings under construction. It was hard to take it in from being in the landscapes of new zealand to now being in the very falt and dry areas of dubai and abu dabi. A contrast of counrtys. The heat an imediate difference, as i swam in the pool to cool of before seeing more of the city, driving passed where the f1 grand pre's are and farrari world, along with more of the iconic buildings and offices. Its hard to believe i ony arrived this morning i am yet to feel the jet lag.
So now the exploring hopefully begins for this 4 days of new buildings and landscapes to see.
