There’s never a day where you know exactly what will happen it’s always different from the rest….i learn something new every single day hear!
If its from watching the elephants and seeing something, if its from talking to one of the guides about something, meeting a guest there’s so much I will take from this experience. Everyday I meat someone new, the guests that pass through the park notice that I have a clip bored and quite often I find myself chatting to someone I have never met before for half an hour as I record the elephant. It is incredible the people I find chatting to me and who I quite often take something from in terms of something they may say to me about what I am doing or where they are from…that good old saying “it’s a small world” seems to crop up every couple of days. For the first time today I say my first snake which wasn’t behind glass….in fact a few feet in front of me. I found myself chatting to guest about geography…(of course once I start I cant stop on that) an one of the guides said “look there’s a small puff adder” for the first time I never found myself immersed with fear I looked at it and carried on talking! Today was such a nice day, I was recording one of the bulls who goes on rides so where he goes I go and there was a ride this afternoon therefore I walk behind. The sun was hot today and the sky blue; it was such a nice walk back to the boma tonight! Also tonight there was a school group in the bunk house so it meant a night sleeping in the lodge!! A very nice day and night at the park!
