NYE 2013...... Wow. Time does fly when you're having fun haha. The last few weeks in Springsure were crazy! A new backpacker arrived called Evelin from Estonia and the accommodation park became fully booked so it was manic busy. So considering we were only meant to be here 10 weeks we are doing well... 3 months later! We have managed to get farm work at a beautiful farm 20k from us. It's called Oakey Creek, the family are amazing and we have our own cottage to stay in when we sleep over! So I am now the grand age of 26..... In my head I still feel 15 and my liver is on the wrong side of 40!!! Tomorrow I start my first afternoon shift! I have turned off that bloody 4am alarm HURRAY! Work has been good. We are both loving life here and making good money. Our boss wants to help us stay longer so she is going to see if she can get us farm work to do as well as our shifts... We flew up to Emerald from Brisbane - Emerald has to be the smallest airport ever!! Anna our new boss was already waiting to take us to Springsure - about 45 minutes away. She filled us in on the local town and what to expect from work. We were starting on the Friday which left Thursday free to wander and explore.
