We woke up with (surprise surprise) another hangover but were ready for a busy day sightseeing in Hanoi.

We left the hostel and headed towards the centre of Hanoi. We visited Hoan Siem Lake which was a massive lake in the middle of the city. I loved it! In the middle of the lake lay a house which the king was buried in.

We carried on walking through the city until we came across the Hoi An Prison which we visited. It was an old prison that was used in the by French revolutionists to captivate and kill the Vietnam people (mostly women). Later on in the Vietnam war, American pilots were kept as prisoners there by the Vietnamese.

After our bit of sightseeing, we decided to finally do something we had been talking about for WEEKS... Go to the cinema to see James Bond!! However, beforehand, we found a brilliant arcade game centre which had arcade games never seen before! Then we went to a pizza hut for dinner.. grabbed a coffee and then saw James Bond.

It was a great day!!!!

We headed back to the hostel and went to some more bars before we went to bed.
