Tropical powerful thunderstorms for the last two nights, all very exciting. What with lemurs playing around with the odd squarky bark - its amazing how I get any sleep. But I still seem to be on the pattern of not being able to keep my eyes open much beyond 9 and waking up about 5.
So have done a total of four dives while I have been here. Jacque is quite different dive guide, really takes his time and loves getting into the detail and pointing out incredibly small creatures and apparently some quite rare ones. Really started to enjoy the diving - much more relaxed, neutral buoyancy better - just need to learn a bit more about what I'm seeing.
Have however got a mild ear infection - not really unexpected with all that diving , the humidity and then shoving headphones in my ears for four hours yesterday (see below) - but am prepared - so antibiotic drops already at work so should be fine. Just annoying.
Yesterday was a beautiful day - blue sky, managed to fit in my last two dives before lunch and then sat on the phone for 4 hours for a follow up board meeting. Had to use my mobile phone so goodness knows what the cost will be, also had to sit in the bar by the beach as the only place with wifi - so could have been worse!
Weird to think I'm flying back to Tana this afternoon (Angelo is picking me up and taking me to the hotel which will be nice to have a friendly face). Then off to Mauritius tomorrow afternoon.
