Back in Bangkok now, such a change from Cambodia! We drove from Siem Reap to the border and it only took 5 hours. Now you might be thinking, 5 hours? thats ages. Especially when you hear the distance is about 150km. But about a month ago it would have taked about 9 or 10 hours. The road has been levelled a bit more though so we were lucky!! Still pretty tiring though! We had our final group dinner last night and this evening myself, Kim, Kate, Katie and Christel all have a 15hour bus journey down to Krabi and the Islands...then its sun, sea and sand for 3 weeks!! wahoo!
