It was a bittersweet day. We are sad to be leaving but are also anxious to see our friends and family and my precious Lady that we have missed. I did it! I managed to be the first one up for the entire holiday. I have enjoyed many mornings updating my blog while everyone else was still sawing logs. Today we went to Chichen Itza. Paul & Claudia are having problems with their car so we were going to rent one for the 2 hour trip. However, a good friend of Claudia's, Rosalia, came by as Claudia was talking to the rental company and offered up her almost brand new van, which was very considerate of her and much appreciated (especially the air conditioning). It was a bit of a lazy morning. We had a busy day yesterday and slept in a little. Yes, I was still first up. Today we are going to go to Isla Mujeres (pronounced Isla Mohairas).
