The first few days have been fantastic in Australia. The weather has been good to us with plenty of sunshine.
Peter and Caroline collected us from the airport and took back to 'The Mansion'.....the house is amazing, we have our own room yay with a double bed yay and our own bathroom double yay it's brilliant.
The first day Peter took us out for a walk into Diamond Creek where they live, for a coffee and a sunny wander then we headed to a lovely cafe where we met Caroline for lunch. The afternoon was spent walking round a beautifully peaceful resevior looking for Kangaroo's, we managed to find six, one even had a little Joey in her pouch.....so cute! That night we had a movie night complete with a million inch tv and surround sound.
Yesterday we were driven into the city and took a trip up the sky tower for some fantastic birds eye views of Melbourne city, which we then walked around. Peter then took us to one of the famous 'chocolate cafe's' which is like a coffee shop but chocolate, it's amazing. I had milk choc jaffa which was incredible, like drinking a melted choc orange and adds had a chilli milk choc which was delightful and peter had dark Belgian choc mmmmmmm! In the evening the guys had snagged four tickets to watch 'the 7pm project' which is a live, light hearted current affairs programme with a famous comedian. That was loads of fun, then we went out for a delicious dinner by the river.
Today, peter has packed up the coolbox with wine, beer and BBQ food and he is taking us out on his boat for the day, sooooo exciting :)
Will let you know how that goes.
Lots of love, was lovely to talk to Kaza this morning on skype too.
Bye for now xxxx
