Almost a week after I kicked off my costume marathon. All going well so far. My thimble twitching fingers have been working hard taking measurements, adapting patterns, buying and cutting out all sorts of fabric as well as doing the usual paper work that comes with these things.
Tomorrow is when things will really get moving. I have 5 dresses all pinned and ready to get under the sewing machine tomorrow morning. Its then onto a shirt, two pairs of trousers, an officers coat and cutting out shot taffeta for my favourite make. :)
Loving being back working with the QMF crew, old and new faces combined. Have got a lovely wardrobe space and a 'Lizi's Big Table' mark 2 for all my cutting needs.
Social times have been grand. Had a lovely dinner this evening. Looking forward to grabbing some fish and chips and then going to find the first Aussie vs Lions test in a pub on sat before a well earned day off on Sunday. Might even get a bit of sun worshipping in...
Sleep now. Long few days of hard, but enjoyable graft to come. Ciao!
