Back to life in Brisvegas!
I am working hard again in an attempt to do one more trip before I have to leave this wonderful country.
My confidence is slowly returning when it comes to my career, however it has also made me think about what else I may be able to do with it and how I can add some more strings to my bow.
I have also taken on a completely new challenge and I am now employed as a Sales person selling dental plans! I'm not too bad at it which surprised me. The company I'm employed by is great as the people are fab. We have a good giggle a don't take ourselves too seriously. I've met some very interesting people actually and have heard and witnessed some unusual and slightly bizarre stories.
This combined with a few events back in the UK has made me contemplate what my aim in life, not including work, is. Yes I want to find the pale where I fit... That's my first step and I am in the process of finding that one out. The next is to let some roots grow somewhere. Actually anchor myself down somewhere. I've been hopping about here there and everywhere and if I want to have the sort of life I am aiming for I need to put some roots down, even if only for a little while until I find someone with a similar outlook. It will also give me somewhere to base myself even if I do end up travelling about again. It's time I started looking for a home to call my own. Not a physical building but a place. A piece I a country that connect with, that feels right. I'm close but not close enough and that's gonna take time. I'm heading in the right direction though.
I have made and been part of some amazing events and memories this last year and I would not change any of it. Yes there are several thins I wish I ha done differently and I have learnt a hell of a lot, but that's part of the continuous growth that is life I guess. You're always learning and I love that. When that stops something needs to change I feel.
I still have some fantastic things to look forward to that I have planned and maybe some amazing things that will just pop up.
At the moment I have an idea that I need to think about a little more but it involves a bike, 160k return journey, lots of photos, time to myself and hopefully a little bit of help for a worthy cause..... I'll keep you posted.
