Hey Everyone!!

Well we are both now in Brisbane, staying with the Randell family; Neal, Jenny, Linda, and Michael - whom we met when we were in Vietnam. We arrived on the 3rd Jan on the Sunshine Coast, where we were staying with them in their caravan, in a town called Maroochydore. To be honest we have done very lttle apart from sitting on the beach and eating plenty of barbies!!

We took a trip to Steve Irwins Zoo - 'Crikey', and saw Bindi and the Crocmen! It was pretty good got to see plenty of roo's and crocs! Bit sad that Steve wasnt there though.

We are now back near the city of Brissy, staying at the Randells home, which is absolutly lovely, they have really made us feel welcome! They have a lovely home right out of the city in the bush, and they have a pool which is a right novelty!

Neal R, managed to very kindly sort us a car out which has been brilliant. We cant decide on names for the damn thing, so i have called it Rosie, and Cyril has called it Denzel! ( I know what your thinking....mine is better!! Ha ha...only joking!) Its great it a little Kia 4x4, and its navy blue! Just so you can imagine us bombing along the roads!!

Its Australia day on the 26th Jan, so we are staying with the Randells until then, and we are all going back up the coast, to the caravan. We are all going to take the deck chairs and stuff over to an island on the jetskis, and have a barbie and play volleyball, and go tubing! Which for the older generation who dont know what i meran by that...its where you sit in an inflatable tyre, and are pulled along by the jetski, and you hold on for dear life, so that you dont come off, and are eaten by the sharks, or stung to death by the jellyfish!! Ctril and I had a go at this the other week, and well can i tell you its not nice!! It felt as though i'd had a free course of collonic irrigation!!!! Hmmm nice!!!

After Ozzy day we are going to start our mammoth journey up to Cairns, we have about 10 weeks until we have to be back in Sydney to see good old Mrs Leith, who is going to shower us with her presence! Hope your ready for an adventure of a lifetime Carol!!! Roughing it n all!!

WEll hoipe everyone is keeping well, and arent letting the cold get to them to much!!! The weather hear by the way is very nice, to the point where we do have to keep on dipping in the pool to cool down!
