Hey girlies, im so sad looking at your photos and realising ive been travelling already i want to be there!!! Im currently concocting reasons why i should go again! mind u i have just been to st lucia with the family and the bar in the pool is definately an idea david lloyd should employ- so many more people would take up swimming! All inclusive food and drink with bar opening at 10am has taken its toll on my grasp on reality and work just hasnt been the same since!

Hi Liz, How are you? Long time no hear! Hope you're ok. The weather here today is beautiful, its so so warm. I've been enjoying the sunshine but unfortunatly have to start nights tonight so I'm not as relaxed as I'd like to be. Have been off work for 2 weeks annual leave and have had such a nice time. Went to Devon all last week and saw all my family which was great. Erlend is about at the moment for a change, making the most of him before he goes in August! Hope things with you are good. Sorry I havent written in so long- bit slack I know. Got your message on my site other day- great to hear from you. Your photos look amazing and make me homesick as mine do when I look at them. BUT, i am actually doing great. Oxford is looking better as we are coming into Spring. The ward is missing you terribly though. I wasnt there for a while, and now kate ahs gone but it hasnt been the same of late. I guess coz everyone is moving on etc. I have put up some photos of Kate's leaving do which was nearly as legendary as yours (but yours probably more). Jay and Shalandra had their party hats on and were the life of the party. We went to dinner at Freud's and then onto Baby Love Bar. Everyone was smashed. Sarah and Jay were carving it up (always lots of flirting with those two hey?) And Aims, Sue garland and Sarah had a go at pole dancing. Sonia was very drunk (dont know if she was on the ward when you were there) but she lives with emma and sarah in a house share. Shalandra escorted Sarah back to her house so she didnt walk on her own. Jay got kicked out about 3 times and apparently when he got home, Paula woke up to find him in their neighbours yard with a bottle in hand calling out for her to come and find him... it was messy. So it was sad to see Kate go but she is at home now. She is up at Mt Isa if you wanna go for a huge drive up there!! I am finishing up work here- havent had many shifts of late so picking up work in london too. Only have until mid may then off travelling hopefully myself. What are your plans for this summer? Kate and I are hopefully planning a bit of a girly week in Melbourne around Melbourne Cup time to go to the races and play ladies. If you guys would like to come that'd be great!! Have friends and family in Melb and we could land on thier doorsteps no worries. K, well look after yourself. Hope workin is all good. What is the hospital like? Take care and write again soon. Just a quick hello today. All fine here. Erlend has just left for Belgium for 2 weeks, will I ever tie him down to this country? How are things with Ian? Very sunny here and got a couple of days off so mostly happy. Going to Devon next week for my nephews christening so very excitted about seeing all my family after 4 long months. I reckon we can make you a bit jealous here at home despite the lack of sunshine and the absence of dophins. We have had a series of visitors to see Megs which means I have caught up with everyone. In the past 2 weeks we have seen P & V, Mark and Sarah Sherratt, Suzanne, Chrissie, Neil, Rosie B, D & S, Phil, Estie, Sally and Richard (lots) and others who you probably don't know. It has been great and it seems as if Megs is beginning to do a bit better. I've also seen Sue and Steve W and the scrumptious baby Lily. Do you want to come home yet?

On top of all that, the tadpoles (products of pond life sex) are beginning to wriggle and hatch and bulbs are bursting into yellow bloom. Dad and I are clearing out the loft, sorry you aren't here to defend your property and you can just hope that we don't tip it all!!!

Off I go to track down a rather unpleasant smell that is emminating from some recess of the loft space and I'll be in touch again soon.

Hi Liz, Glad you're getting on ok at work, I was getting worried for a moment there! Work without politics sounds like bliss, although having said that, I try not to get too involved in it down in Southampton, it's just not worth it as the place is in such a political mess (even compared to Oxford! Honestly!). I'm pleased that things with Ian are still going strong and that he's coming out to see you again soon. I hope you have fun on your camper-van adventures! My tan is fading but still making me feel like I have a healthy glow so thats ok! Erlend is currently in Qatar and I miss him so much but I'm sure you know exactly how I feel. Had a bit of a crap day today, was on a study day but got sent home early as I have got a dodgy stomach bug/nausea thing...much better now though. I hope things carry on going well out there for you.
