I have a job - finally. it's an e grade which is very exciting - just in time because agenda for change comes in next month in out-patients beacuse they don't think that i am well enough to go back to the wards. i think it will be quite interesting. sorry i feel the need to tell everybody!
how is australia is it awfully hot have you started talking with an accent yet - you aren't near the hurricanes are you my geography of that part of the world isn't marvellous

sorry for not writing for abit....i have been thinking of ya both though. good to hear you have made it to Oz in one piece and are enjoying down under. i am back in the freezing land u call home- with temps of 5 degrees on a good day!!! wanna go back to my 24 degrees back home.....although it's bloody freezing it is nice to be back and catch up with everyone. stil trying to sort out where i'm gonna work...waiting on agency to get bac to me with final details about each position so i can chose the best one for me. hoping to take one in hemel hampstead/watford....but if not then off to belfast. fingers crossed i'll know more this week.

Hi Liz, I thought I had finally cracked all this technology and could send a message but it doesn't seem to have worked. I'm trying again to make sure you know I'm following your adventures and being extremely jealous. I was definitely born in the wrong era. We are in fairly deep snow here. We had escaped until now but it caught up with us. It is beginning to thaw and is at the 'yukki' stage. I believe we are threatened with more whita stuff this weekend. Oh well, it can't last long. Isn't Perth a lovely city? I thoroughly enjoyed it though my visit was far too short to do it justice. I'll keep tracking you round the globe and wishing I was young again. Lots of Love

Hi LIZ!! I'm home from 2 fantastic weeks in the Dominican Republic, its like I was born to worship the sun!! We had a really wonderful time out there, I can not begin to tell you all the wonderful things we did and saw. We did manage to get some culture aswell (Erlend insisted!) but it was all rather humbling though as the Dominican is by no means a rich country. Some of it made me feel very sad but also very grateful at what I have. Seeing and swimming with beautiful dolphins was probably one of the highlights, but I loved it all, it was so good! I am also extremely proud of my tan! It took alot of hard work and lovely new bikinis but I did it and now you can only see my teeth in the dark (and other white bits!!!)!!!!! He He! Well, thats enough about me, I hope you're still ok and happy. I'm enjoying catching up on the last 2 weeks of your adventures. Keep up the fun and happy times! I have some really sad news...i have come down with a shocking case of the flu(we think it is- i HOPE it is and not bird flu!!!)-headaches,blocked sinuses, aching all over like i've been hit by a bus so have made decision(well parents kinda forced me too) to change tickets for following week so am feeling more up to a 24hr flight. I'm sure all the other passengers who would've had to sit next to me will be very grateful! AnYWAY...it means i will not get to see u two! :( :( :( I'm really pissed off that of all times to be sick in my entire time home it has to be 2 days before i leave!! must be cursed or something. i hope u both have a fab time there, it's really easy to get around- get hop on hop off bus pass for day(get at tourist info centre or hostel)-is worthwhile. Well, hope to email u again abit later but am so sorry i won't see u both- miss ur stories and jokes! safe travels & lots of love- vicki xx
