hello everyone! Thanks for the messages Granny and Kate, we are having a ball and the loss of my handbag is hardly noticeable at all anymore, or at least while I have other fun distractions its not...So we start our boat trip around the Whitsundays today and despite the tropical weather (very warm and very very wet) we are hoping the sun will come out soon and tan us. I have developed a cold which may have something to do with trying to do everything possible, usually not involving time to sleep except on buses but I am trying my hardest to ignore it (Cheryl, who has to listen to my whinging may disagree with that last bit!) Hope you are all well and enjoying the summer xxxxx

Hi Liz, How are you? Just checking on how things are going. Think of you often! Erlend and I are going up to Oxford for a couple of days next week...not for any special reason, we just felt like it! Its only 7 weeks until Erlend leaves for Qatar and I'm starting to feel yuck about it (couldn't think of a better word!). G'day Cheryl..................how bizarre is this ....me posting a message to you whilst in Scotland and you about to set of for the hot Northern Territory. Weather here was a bit of a shock...............especially the two nights in a tent at the Scottish Open Volleyball Comp..........glad to hava comfy bed at Nanny's now!!!!!

Hi Liz. Have just come back from a visit to Dave & Sheetala, with your Mum & Dad. We had a lovely time and it was great to see them in their own home. I have since written a Christmas thank you letter to your Mum & Dad - not everyone who gets Xmas presnts in May! I also met Megs when I spent a night in transit both to and from the holiday. She is looking good and I think I have been adopted as an extra Granny I keep watching the web sight and continue to be jealous. Great to see you having so much fun but must you scatter your belongings around the globe. Hope the loss of the handbag didn't cause too much hassle. Have fun in the' far from frozen' north. So good to hear that the Liz I know and love has not changed too much over the past few months!!! Just before I left Oxford...in fact, my last day at work, you went off to London (I think with Ian) and managed to get your bag swipped then too! I think you must just be far too happy while you're with Ian so you get easily distracted and don't concentrate on anything else!!! I hope it hasn't caused you too much hassle. Oh dear, I am back to my old self. After 4 months of not even misplacing my keys (unheard of I know) my bag has now been swiped phone, purse, lipgloss and all - grrr! Anyway just to let you know I am going to attempt being phoneless for a bit so if you have texted me and I have been ignoring you, you now know its not personal. I have just got back from a fantastic 2 weeks (except for the bag incident of course) with Ian. We hired a car and explored as much of NSW that we could pack in including hiring a tandem bike and going wine and cheese tasting around the Hunter Valley..mmm! It is now back to work and the countdown has begun til we fly off again up to Darwin for our outback safari. 9 shifts to go..... xx

Kate, you are not supposed to laugh at our amazing Neighbours experience - don't you know you are supposed to be in awe of us now that we mingle freely with the stars! Only kidding, it was a hilarious night and the photo that isn't on the website yet is of Max on his hands and knees signing a neighbours stubby holder I bought for Ian - I know, on his hands and knees for me!!!! I have been meaning to message you for ages to say thankyou for the little postcard/puzzle that you sent me. It was so thoughtful of you, and gave my brain a little work out! Glad to hear and see that things are continuing to go well.
I am loving being an honourary Tew, it has definatley been the right move for me to come here and I am feeling so much happier and healthier, though its hard to know which is having the most influence, the prayer or the healing crystals from Esther! Have been seeing lots of people. Just had sue and lily round for lunch. Sarah B is coming home this week too so should be catching up with her.

TIZZY...You two are legends!!!! How much I have laughed while looking at your hillarious photos while you were meeting the Neighbours!!! They're probably not meant to be funny as such but it just brought me alot of pleasure and happiness to see you with those people...and you just appeared so cool about it! I envy you!

Hey Chez, Hope you ok looks like you having a fab time, I am very jealous. Unfortunatley my life is not so exotic but my big news is that Will got a job!!! He got a place on the civil service faststream which basically means a good job good money good hours. Needless tosay he is a transformed man. We have just been on holiday to north Wales and also camping in the new forest - we had to go walking and cycling all day to compensate for the alcohol that we drank in the evenings. Have you done your skydive yet - what was it like?? Write soon Becksxxxxx
