Great night spent in Zion. That park is huge and I must return sometime. Very intense desert weather today and no place to hide. Blinding rain and scary lightning. Lasted 10 min and then furnace heat came back on. 2 more storms caught us though. In 20 miles we experienced wind from every direction. Really strange. Had great lunch on hwy 89 at the infamous thunderbird cafe. Been around since the 40,s. apple pie was heaven on a plate. Bikes working flawlessly and no run ins with the law!!! Most cruising done around 80 mph. Love it. We are now over night in Koa flagstaff. Off to find a diner/drive-in/and dive spot from TV show. Nite all.
