Gloomy day today that just got wetter. Lots of rain but it did not stop trip to grand canyon. I thought I was being ripped off as first 45 min at grand canyon was totally fogged in. Great night spent in Zion. That park is huge and I must return sometime. Very intense desert weather today and no place to hide. Blinding rain and scary lightning. Lasted 10 min and then furnace heat came back on. 2 more storms caught us though. In 20 miles we experienced wind from every direction. Really strange.
