Hey everyone, weve been in patong, phuket for the last week in which it has rained everyday (torrentially) so we are soooooo glad we brought our waterproof coats it beats walking around in a poncho lol!! We havent done alot here as we have been spending rather alot so far, so wev been trying to cut back. We keep forgetting we are budget travellers not holiday makers!! The streets are busy and full of market sellers trying to get you to buy a suit, sunglasses, taxi, tuk tuk, massage, food............and the list goes on. Bangla rd is the main st which really comes alive at night, its lined with girlie bars and ladyboys (who are very convincing!) its so fun to sit in one of these bars and people watch, you see all walks of life its unreal we have had such a laugh . We went to the cinema last night to watch the batman movie, it was 1.50 each and we got a really comfy reclining sofa chair....heaven, we were a bit giddy tho, as just before the film started we had to stand up while they played a montage of clips in respects to the king of thailand we were in a fit of giggles! off to kuala lumpur tomorrow morning for 3days, we hav managed to get a cheap flight for 30 quid so we are really looking forward to it.
