Hello all well finally arrived in china its a bit different to the UK that's all i can say.

Things such as the news for example are weird i.e if BBC NEWS is on and they don't want you to hear something from over the UK they screen just goes blank for 10 minutes missing a whole chunk of the news. Further starnge things facebook is banned in this country hence this could make communication to the outside world tough. Although probably the 2 strangest things in China are the toilets not western but a squat which is a whole in the floor hard to use is no understatment plus no toilet paper a water gun to wipe your bottom and the other weird thing is the children have splits in there trousers at the back so they can go the toilet wherever and whenever they want in any public place including outdoors, for such a communist country it's weird.

I love Beijing so far seen many great sites olympic stadium (where i got to see the Birds Nest which was the main Olympic Stadium and The Cube which was the swimming arena), tianam square where the studnet riots happened i.e. the famous student lying by the tank, summer palace and much more.

Menu's a bit different to say the least. My first day went to A resturasnt to open the first page and see that dog was on the menu this is a definte change to what i am used to, in the same resturant they where also offering dog juice as a refreshmnet hence i stayed in there for 5 minutes and didn't eat there. Diffrent local delights i have tasted though are scorpion it's pretty cool to eat also gonna eat a spider today, with my partner in crime who's gonna eat a scorpion you know who you are.

One last thing it is impossible to get drunk here as the percentage on beer is around 2 per cent and that is budweiser, might have to hit the spirits hahaha, which in fairness our very strong.
