paul's world adventures and more
Hi guys
Well after 20 months of craziness including China, Vietnam, Loas, Cambodia, Thailand, Malysia, Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand and Australia which included 3 dislocations, broken ribs, scooter accidents, Eating some strange and wonderful things i.e. rat, meeting some of the best people who will be friends for life you know who you are, having some of the scariest moments of my life to name a few things this is something i never wanted to write but the day has finally arrived, yes i am back in Liverpool.
Lets begin with the last 4 days of my trip and it is all about Bangkok. This city is so underestimated everyone thinks of ladyboys, ping pong shows and prostetion when they think of this place it has so much more than that, no doubting the 3 things mentioned above are part of the culture of Bangkok and this will never change.
Bangkok has so much more it is one of my favrite city's Temple's, Floating Markets, beautiful Buildings i.e. sky tower (the resturant from The Hangover 2), Amazingly friendly people, the best street food you will get in the world (pad thai, corn, thai curry to name a few), cheap beer including Chang which can range from 7 per cent to 10 as they do not know the true percentage only in Asia, cheap buckets OF Sam song whisky and coke, great party scene, KHO SAN ROAD,, Tuk Tuks and cheap produce even if it is fake hahahaha. This what makes Bangkok a cultural hotbed i love it.
So what did i do with my time in Bangkok alot of the above visited temples, bought cheap produce, drank a ton of cheap beer and buckets, drove around in crazy tuk tuks to name a few things.
I again stayed in my favourite place Kho San Road and just completly partied for 4 days as i new it would be the end of my trip, if you want to party Kho San Road is the place to do it street parties everywhere. I randomly bumped into a pal that i had not seen Auckland very nice.
We where with one other person also Lucas the crazy Brazilan and it was his birthday so what do you do for someone's birthday in Bangkok silly question celebrate in style and yes we did, what a great night, we ended up with a big group again Sweden and New Zealand joined the group we drunk and partied on the street until the early hours of the morning. Also Lizzie the kiwi girl is coming to live in the UK excited.
Bangkok was amazing but i knew my time was up time to come home sad times. The journey itself consisted of 2 parts Bangkok to Dhaka, then Dhaka to London, these where just the craziest of trips.
It begin from Bangkok where i was in a panick as i had overstayed my visa luckily nothing was said to me at customs. Then the flight what a experience there was me and 2 German girls who where the only western people on the flight with a load of Indian business men who where possibly the rudest people ever pushing, bumping, staring at you they just do not understand the concept of other people being around.
We then arrived to Dhaka where there was a 14 hour stay not fun had to sleep in the airport where this time i was the only western person i could not sleep for 14 hours as i was scared something may happen. Then the flight, 13 hours of hell people screaming, using there mobile phones on take off and basically not listening to instruction from the stewardesses, 13 hours felt like a eternity but i finally made it home as i expected it was cloudy and cold making me feel utterly depressed straight away great to see family and friends but that is it. I am planning to leave the UK as soon as possible it just feels like it has a dark cloud hanging over it at the moment.
Well this is where the book closes dare i say not for good as my plans are not for the UK but somewhere further afield all i can say is watch this space.
I would like to thank all the people in my life from the bottom of my heart that have made this trip the most special thing i have done in my life.
So for the last time or is it hahahahaha
Peace out people
