So we rocked up in Byron Bay during the day and us and the girls split as they were in a different Hostel to us. They were in another Hostel for 2 nights then into our one for the rest of the time. Soon as we had got into our room which was really nice, modern and the bathroom was huge with a really nice shower etc, unpacked and went back and met the girls for a little beach session. Adam and Anthony were there aswell so met up with them for an hour before checking out the town. Then as it was nearly xmas the girls wanted to buy us a present each and we buy them one each, so we thought ok, lets do it. We came up with something idea about getting something to do with Team Carlton as that is what we called ourselves as a group. So we bought 3 Koala teddys and was planning to find a place that we could get a badge with Team Carlton on and get it stitched onto the koala's. It was so hard finding somewhere that did that. I've even jogged to a place 4km away to see if they would do it but they wouldn't so our plan was to get it done quickly before xmas in Sydney. So later that night we all went out and had a drink in a place called Cheeky Monkey's. It was the busiest bar in Byron and crazy at the same time, everyone was dancing on tables and pretty hard to move in there.

The next few days we literally done the same thing, Chris turned up to spend the rest of he's travels with us and basically just chilling during the day and getting drunk on the night times. One of the days we done a 'Happy Tour' where they took us to a place called Nimbin which was an hour and a half out of Byron to a little town where they sell you mushrooms and cookies. The cookies had bits of Marawana in which you could taste a little but basically give you a little buzz. The town was so mellow, everyone seemed like they were druggies or alcoholics so we just bought our cookies and sat by the swimming pool. They put on a BBQ lunch which was a sausage sandwich, but filled a hole before heading back. The bus was so squashy and hot. Matt was inches away from fainting as he got off the bus so Gem got him a coke and he seemed to purk up a bit.

That night me and Matt met these 2 Austrian girls that was in our room, they wanted to come out with us all so that night the girls came over and we all had a good pre drinking session in our room before heading out. We played a game where everyone gets 4 cards each, take one look and put them face down so we that number comes out you point at someone to drink and if they think your lying, they say 'bulls***' and you have to remember where your card is. I always try to swap peoples cards when there ot looking so when they cant produce the card they have to drink double, so funny! Then we were all pretty merry before heading out to Cheeky Monkeys. Chris couldnt get in as he was to drunk so we all came out and went into another bar called Woody's. All were having a drink then the song 'I'm Sexy And I Know It' by LMFAO came on and when it does the girls always make me pull my jeans down (boxers still on) and a do a little flap to the chorus which didn't go down to well as the bouncer saw it and chucked me out. By this time it was pretty late so we all headed back and went to bed.

After a few days it was time for the girls and Chris to head down to Sydney so we said our goodbyes for a day as we were getting the same bus the next day. That day was boring as hell as we had to check into another Hostel for one night as they didn't have the room in the one we had been staying in. We was watching films most of the day to make the day go a bit quicker before it was our time to get the 13 hour bus ride down to Sydney. It was the most horrible journey of all, I took a sleeping pill to try and relax me but didn't seem to work so I took another one a few hours later which made me feel drunk a little. When the bus stopped I stepped off and was going side to side, wierd feeling but it seemed to help me relax when I got back on. We just couldn't wait to get there as it was our last coach journey as Sydney was our final destination on the Greyhound. So after a long, miserable journey we arrived in Sydney...
