Our overnight bus journey down south was a bit horrendous. Even though we supposedly paid extra for a better bus it was still so uncomfortable, especially for poor Liss who's chair was totally broken. It proved very difficult to translate this and the Thai seem very strict on sitting in your allocated seats!
